Brian Leguia is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of New Jersey and has been practicing for 8 years and counting. Graduating from the University of Pittsburgh, Brian prides himself in having an eclectic and humanitarian approach utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Psychoanalytic/Psychodynamic, Interpersonal Psychotherapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Substance Abuse Counseling, Motivational Interviewing and continues to be a scholar in treatment modalities in order to address each client's unique needs.

 

Brian makes sure that his clients experience a professional and private therapeutic setting, yet comfortable enough to explore every aspect of what may be interfering in finding stability. Brian works primarily with young adults, adolescents, families, individuals, and couples. Brian has a wealth of experience ranging from depression, anxiety/stress, grieving/loss, assertiveness training, substance usage/abuse, trauma and abuse, family dynamics, relationship dynamics, and parenting issues. Brian can be described as gentle, supportive creative, and kind in his therapeutic approach.
